Permaculture is the development of agricultural systems designed to be completely sustainable and sufficient for our needs, and is based on the idea that all humans should have access to this type of agriculture for a healthy life. BillMollison is the father of permaculture, and its implications go way beyond the practical aspects of food production: in his book Introduction to Permaculture, the author and naturalist explains the profound ethical and philosophical implications of this revolutionary method which anyone can adopt or support, in order to promote sustainable practices and live in greater harmony with nature, without sacrificing productivity, and all the while encouraging communal respect and cooperation.
